Wow look at all those names from SLHS 🤩 Congrats to everyone who completed the STAR program from the Office of Undergrad Research! Over the course of the fall semester, these students participated in five professional-development activities (workshops, compliance training, advising) to foster engagement in the high-impact practice of research. We had our annual Stop Day party last night in Clark Hall to send off our 2nd years to their full time outplacements next year! We cannot believe the Class of 2026 is already leaving Lewis Hall 😱 But they sure know how to throw a great party - thank you to the 2nd years who organized such a magical evening filled with SLHS trivia, heartfelt thank yous, tearful goodbyes, mountains of good food and lots of merriment and cheer ✨💖🎉 We are so beyond proud of all that you’ve accomplished in the past 2 years and we can’t wait to have another celebration with you in May! Wishing everyone a successful finals week and a restful winter break 😌

Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Missouri is proud of its long and distinguished history and of the high quality of its graduates, students, faculty, and staff. We have one of the oldest continually accredited programs in speech-language pathology in the nation and we offer the only PhD program in speech-language pathology in Missouri.

The Department offers three degree programs:


  • Bachelor of Health Science (BHS)
