Thank you to the members of our regional news organizations who joined us for CIC Media Day! Many visitors came from the Columbia area, but we had representation from as far away as Myrtle Beach. This group of professionals came together to engage with students and to celebrate the critical importance of journalism in keeping communities informed.

“As we adapt to a changing world and changes in technology,“ said Damion Waymer, Ph.D., director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, “you can trust that we are imparting what students need to be the very best professionals — the very best ethical professionals.”
