This summer, students partnered with Won Life in Cape Town, South Africa, to learn about public health initiatives in the region. From assisting teachers at a local elementary school to engaging with students and educators, they explored community-based approaches to supporting health and well-being.

This summer, students traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand, for a firsthand look at elephant conservation. They began their program by exploring northern Thailand before spending their second week fully immersed at Elephant Nature Park, where they gained valuable hands-on learning experiences. 🐘🇹🇭

Students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in beautiful Sicily this summer. With tours of historical landmarks, hiking excursions and chocolate tasting, students experienced much of what the island has to offer.

From visiting the Costa Rican Supreme Court and examining the justice system, to excursions that showcased the unique biodiversity and geography of Costa Rica, Jaidyn H. got a taste of the Pura Vida lifestyle this summer! Of her experience she said, “[It] was truly unforgettable. I loved every bit of immersing myself in a new culture and learning everything I possibly could about it.”

In just two and a half weeks our Architectural Studies in Japan program visited five cities, examining the relationship among culture, environment and history, and how they all influence the modern built environment!

Alexis B. started her summer in beautiful Athens, Greece, working with students at a local school. “Every student I have met has been very welcoming and it's fascinating how fluent they are in English, Greek and French. They took the time to create the sweetest notes for me and my friends, even writing in English to accommodate us!” Alexis said.
