Our good friends at the Arboretum will be discussing Walden. “The virtues of a superior man are like the wind; the virtues of a common man are like the grass; the grass, when the wind passes over it, bends.”

The weather forecast has fooled us before, but we're not leaving this one to chance. Sunday's book club meets at All Good Books, 734 Harden St., 3 - 4:30 p.m.
We hate not talking about *this* book among the trees, but the weekend looks to be extra soggy with storms forecast right at our meeting time.
We're really excited to get into Walden with everyone. Please register if you haven't already.

Here’s your chance to brush up on your Botany. Our very own Curator Emeritus Dr. John Nelson is a wellspring of botanical knowledge. Certain to be an enjoyable, immersive learning experience.

Designed for those interested in learning college-level botany in an informal setting, this course will be comprehensive, featuring a heavy focus on the historic and present-day roles of plant taxonomy.
