Our next R3 spotlight is Chief Dr. Aaron Brown!

Aaron is from Macon, MO. He will be sticking around to do Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Mizzou, then will practice family medicine and sports medicine at Total Family Healthcare in Macon.

His favorite memory of residency would be a tie between attending the annual “Mizzou Nights” at the AMSSM Conferences each year or the day he found out he matched to stay at Mizzou for fellowship.

We are so thrilled to continue to get to work with Dr. Brown in the next year. MIZ!

Today for our didactics, our residents were at Mobility Worldwide where we got to learn about how their volunteers provide mobility devices to people with disabilities around the world. This is a part of Community Health didactics learning series to discuss opportunities in the area to help better serve our patients and make them aware of resources. Today’s discussions also covered lectures from faculty and fellow residents for better care for our patients with disabilities

She is from Farmington, MO and will be returning there after graduation to practice primary care. Her favorite memory of residency is her R2 trip, her wedding, and all the fun & crazy & gratifying moments sprinkled in throughout. She is expecting her a “big ole boy” sometime before graduation.

Our next graduation R3 Spotlight: Dr. Breanna Tuhlei! ✨

Breanna is from Springfield, MO. She will be starting as a
hospitalist at Capital Region in Jefferson City after graduation!

Favorite memory: it’s so hard to pick one! I’d have to say either the handoffs from day team to night team when we are all hanging out together and being goofy/giving each other crap, or when a very sick patient starts to turn the corner after an intervention we did!
