Calling all music-loving rising 5th–10th graders: there is still time to register!

Discover the fun of opera at a hands-on, week-long camp at the University of South Carolina School of Music, June 22–26, 2026. Campers will create their own production while working with professional-level opera singers, directors, and designers.

Participants will:
🎶 Explore character creation through music
🎵 Practice voice, rhythm, and music reading skills
🎨 Learn about set lighting and costume design

Southeastern Piano Festival Artist Spotlight Concert: Soyeon Kate Lee! June 11 | 7:30 pm | USC School of Music Recital Hall

First prize winner of the Naumburg International Piano Competition and the Concert Artist Guild International Competition, Korean-American pianist Soyeon Kate Lee has been lauded by The New York Times as a pianist with "a huge, richly varied sound, a lively imagination and a firm sense of style." After performing in the Bank of America Chamber Music series at the 2026 Spoleto Festival USA in May, she joins us at SEPF presenting a solo recital featuring Debussy, Schumann, Prokofiev, Prestini and Scriabin.
