Iuka Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Harlie Wood.

Harlie completed her associate degree at Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2019, followed by her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2025, where she also completed her residency.

“From my earliest memories, I knew I wanted to become a nurse,” she said. “My favorite part of nursing is making meaningful connections with patients, so they always feel loved and heard. I am passionate about providing excellent, compassionate care and improving the health of everyone I encounter.”

These seniors' last simulation day!!! It was a fun day of learning!!!! They completed a high risk maternal/newborn sim, ran an adult code with multiple rhythm changes, titrated critical drips, calculated the Rule of Nines and Parkland formula, managed a Swan Ganz, chest tubes and A Line, managed a ventriculostomy, assessed GCS, and maintained Cspine with transfer, all with big ole smiles and great attitudes ready to learn!!! Turning concepts they learned in the classroom into real life helps them connect the dots!!!! Hard to believe their time with us is winding down!! WE ARE SO VERY PROUD OF THEM!!!!!

Together our students bought food and put together 7 Thanksgiving baskets for MUW Student Life 💙💙They truly are the most kind hearted and compassionate kids! This food will certainly bless others this Thanksgiving season 🦃We are SO PROUD of you all!
