The ECE Graduate Orientation is underway, bringing together graduate students, faculty, and leadership to explore program details and research opportunities. The event commenced with remarks from Acting Chair Professor Eylem Ekici, followed by a presentation led by Graduate Chair Professor Abhishek Gupta.

Other speakers include Prof. Lisa Fiorentini, ECE Clinical Professor; Prof. Irem Eryilmaz, ECE Professor of Clinical Practice; as well as breakout sessions led by ECE graduate faculty.

A glimpse into the 2026 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium this week.

Fellow participants, alumni, and friends joined together for good food and laughs.

Almost everyone was delighted to throw up the OH-IO! except for one rebel, Prof. Kamal Sarabandi of University of Michigan who injected some UM into the photo.

Ahmed, A. Ghosh, C.-C. Wang, and N. B. Shroff.

Senior Research Associate for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ElectroScience Laboratory, Sharbel Kozhaya was awarded the prestigious 2025 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Robert T. Hill Best Dissertation Award for his PhD dissertation titled, “Exploiting unknown LEO satellite signals: From beacon estimation to satellite tracking to PNT.”
