Classes yesterday in Wisconsin. Many thanks to new and traditional stops, Alpine Hills,Glacier Edge, National Dairy Shrine and lunch, and the perennial Hoard’s Dairyman farm. It was the final moments of anticipation before the big day! Much appreciation to all for the memories.

On the road Day 3 as we were afforded the opportunity to view many classes of Holsteins.
Many thanks to the Gundersons who are newer to hosting
but they sure understand how to put together good classes. Then off to Erbsen’s as we were treated to 4 classes and a real lesson about the true grit of how a family farm can thrive TOGETHER.
Then it was the ultimate lesson on history at Mil-R-Mor and the home of the Roxie’s.

We traveled to Illinois for judging workouts at three farms. As usual, it is good to match up with other teams and coaches!
The day brought crisp, fall air at Bluff Ridge and two Holstein classes. The next stop was Kilgus Jersey Homestead and three cow classes that created interest! Then it was the Mackinson Dairy with Milking Shorthorn and Ayrshire classes.
These farms take extra time and care to host our aspiring judges. It is no simple task to make the schedule fit into the daily routine. We are appreciative of their efforts.
By the way, historic Route 66 was a part of our trip. It did not escape this group and a few lessons about longevity!

Less travel, more farms that regularly are our tradition before the All American contest. Palmyra is an icon with breeding, showing, sharing, and family!
