We hate to see them go, but we love watching what they'll do next!

Last night, we celebrated the very first Buckeye Bridge cohort as they prepare to begin their next chapter at The Ohio State University this autumn.

Buckeye Bridge is more than a transfer program. It's a partnership that creates life-changing opportunity. Eligible Columbus State graduates can earn their associate degree here, then continue to Ohio State to complete a bachelor's degree debt-free.

We couldn't be prouder of this inaugural group, and we can't wait to see all they accomplish.

Today, we're celebrating an artist who's teaching the next generation of creators.

Congratulations to Digital Art, Media, and Design Professor Gene Strickland on earning second place in the Ohio State Fair Poster Contest with his digital illustration celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

Created through illustration, digital painting, compositing, typography, and thoughtful design refinement, Gene's work showcases his creativity, craftsmanship, and expertise. And you should see what he does in the classroom!

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Gene!
