We're pleased to introduce the newest members of the Vision Science graduate program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry! This autumn, we're welcoming 11 students into our combined OD/MS Class of 2029 and two new PhD students.

New PhD Students:
Mason Clutter (OD/MS'26) started his PhD the Monday after graduation, advised by Drs. Nick Fogt and Marjean Kulp. Beyond his binocular vision research, Mason is a rock climber and SCUBA diver. He loves attending Academy meetings, exploring new cities and being part of the research community.
Bruno Felalaga, MS, joins us this semester, advised by Drs. Stacey Choi and Nathan Doble, researching red blood cell tracking in retinal blood flow imaging. Bruno earned his master's in computer science from the University of Chicago in 2025 and has worked as a software engineer and lab assistant. Originally from Ghana, he's an avid soccer fan and player, and he's excited to dive into the Vision Science community and explore Columbus.
