Thank you The Columbus Museum for highlighting CSU Art student, Davian Chester!!!

In observance of Juneteenth, we're highlighting the work of Columbus native, Davian Chester.

Known for his Real Toons comics and artwork exploring the Black experience, Chester gained national recognition in 2019 when his Juneteenth-inspired illustration went viral after he created an alternative to the absence of a Google Doodle honoring the holiday. His work helped bring greater awareness to Juneteenth and its significance.

Happy Juneteenth from COMU!
