Dr. William “B.J.” Hicks II is a nationally recognized vascular neurologist and VP of Neurosciences at OhioHealth, specializing in equitable stroke care and cerebrovascular disease. He expanded OhioHealth’s Stroke Network to nearly 30 hospitals statewide and led Columbus’ Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit.

A Morehouse and Howard University College of Medicine graduate, Dr. Hicks is the 2025 AHA National Physician of the Year and incoming ASA Advisory Committee Chairman.
