There’s still time to RSVP for the 2026 Welty Gala on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. CDT at the Trotter Convention Center in downtown Columbus.

This elegant evening benefits the MUW Scholarship Fund, which provides critical support to our students as they pursue their educational and professional goals.

The evening will begin with a reception featuring this year’s Welty Symposium authors, followed by dinner and a special keynote presentation by Elizabeth Smart. An inspirational kidnapping survivor, founder of the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, and New York Times bestselling author, Elizabeth has transformed her experience into a powerful mission to advocate for survivors and inspire hope, resilience, and change.

Your presence at the Gala helps W students write their own success stories, shaped by education, opportunity, and the generosity of supporters like you.

Sponsorship for the event will close Thursday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m. CDT. Learn more and sign up at https://longblueline.muw.edu/weltygala.
