The Friends of the Josephinum 5K Run/Walk is October 3 at the Josephinum!

This is a fun family-friendly event all in support of our seminarians. It also comes with great swag, including a T-shirt, bottle of wine or jar of Trappist jam, retail coupons, commemorative medal, and post-race breakfast burritos and White Castle sliders.

The 2026–27 Year of Formation is officially underway!

This morning, our community gathered in Saint Turibius Chapel for Mass opening the new year. The liturgy was celebrated by our Vice Chancellor, Most Reverend Earl K. Fernandes, and included prayers for our priests, faculty, staff, and seminarians.

Please join us in praying for the seminarians from all of the dioceses and orders we are honored to serve, and for all who accompany them on this journey!

2026-27 Formation Year Orientation Countdown
Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, our new seminarians will be arriving from all over the country to move into the School of Theology and College of Liberal Arts. Please pray for our new and returning seminarians, priests, faculty, and staff.

In a particular way, we continue to pray for our Community of Formators, who are entrusted with the spiritual, intellectual, pastoral, and human formation of our seminarians here in the House of Saint Joseph.

Today, we give thanks to these priests who serve as professors and spiritual directors within the seminaries and ask you to pray for them.

This Tuesday, August 18th, we will have new seminarians begin their orientation to the House of Saint Joseph. Please pray for our new and returning seminarians, priests, faculty, and staff.

Our ordained alumni who have received Holy Orders this past year are a daily reminder of the impact of our mission to strengthen the Catholic Church, form her Shepherds, and hand down the Deposit of Faith for this generation. #
