College Road construction this summer and fall will significantly change traffic patterns, reroute CABS and affect access to the Ohio Union Garages. Plan for delays.

From June 15 through December 2026, sections of College Road will alternate between northbound-only traffic and full closures, with changing sidewalk access. CABS will be rerouted to High Street. Access to the Ohio Union North and South Garages will remain available, but routes to the garages will change depending on the phase.

🎓 Once your student turns 18, you may not automatically be able to make medical decisions for them in an emergency. Student Legal Services helps incoming Buckeyes prepare a Healthcare Power of Attorney (HPOA). ❤️

📍 Students can complete their HPOA during Day 2 of Orientation or schedule an appointment anytime over the summer.

Reading Day has us thinking about Commencement Week festivities next week.

Is your student about to become an ? If so, we invite you to join us for the Commencement Eve Candlelight next Saturday, May 9, beginning at 9 p.m. on the Main Oval. Families and friends are encouraged to attend alongside their soon-to-be graduate to reflect and celebrate the graduating class.
