Congrats to our President Lasandra Dent🩷💚
We’re excited to welcome LaSandra Dent to Pickerington Local Schools as one of our new social workers for the 2026–2027 school year!
With more than 36 years of experience supporting children, families and communities, LaSandra brings extensive experience in school social work, behavioral health, child welfare and community engagement to PLSD.
But her journey into social work began long before her career. As a teenager, Dent watched a PBS documentary about a social worker helping families in a high-needs community. That experience inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping individuals and families build better futures.
Today, she brings that same passion to her work with students and families.
“I believe in listening without judgment, building trust, and meeting each student and family where they are,” said Dent.
