We’re celebrating the life-changing hearing and balance care audiologists provide to people across the lifespan. We are grateful to our patients and their families for the trust they place in our clinic—it is a privilege to be part of your care.

Happy World Audiologists Day to Dr. Baxter, Dr. Goodman, Dr. Stevens, Dr. Whitelaw, and all of our Doctor of Audiology students! We look forward to another week of helping people communicate, connect, and thrive—changing the world one ear at a time.

At Ohio State, students not only have access to first-class educational opportunities on campus, but also opportunities to make a meaningful impact in our broader Columbus community.

Our undergraduate students are putting compassion into action by volunteering at a local retirement community , building connections across generations and enriching the lives of the residents they serve. Experiences like these remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom!

🎉Happy work anniversary to Nadine Whiteman! 30 YEARS!!!🎉

Here is a heartfelt message from Professor Whiteman, as she celebrates 30 years working at The Ohio State University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic: "On my 30th work anniversary with OSU SLHC, I am grateful for all the opportunities along the way! I frequently tell the students 'never say never,' as I never thought I would be a Clinical Instructor at OSU...I never thought speech sound production would be my specialty...I never thought I'd present at conferences...and the list could go on! I also impart to students to 'step through the doors that open to you,' as you may find new passions to pursue like I have! These 30 years have happened in a blink with incredible colleagues, clients, and students! I'm looking forward to more adventures!"

In recognition of Su***de Prevention Month, the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) is hosting a panel presentation on mental health issues and how these may connect with tinnitus perception. We're excited to launch the new Columbus, OH, Family Chapter of the National Stuttering Association! The National Stuttering Association’s motto is what our NSA Chapters are all about! NSA Family Chapters are designed for kids and teens (ages 7-17) who stutter and their families.

Family Chapters allow kids and teens who stutter to come together and participate in different activities to have fun while being among others who stutter. Feel free to reach out to the Chapter Leaders to find out more about our chapter. We hope you will join us!
