Dr. Shannon Jarrott recently hosted an international delegation of students from the Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS)! Together, they explored a critical global topic: the growing aging population in Japan, the US, and most countries — examining the unique opportunities and needs associated with these population shifts.
A huge thanks to the visiting KUAS students for bringing such incredible energy, curiosity, and fresh perspectives to the session. Special thanks as well to OSU’s College of Engineering for hosting the delegation and to Leslie Callahan, Director of International Initiatives, for seamlessly coordinating the event.
Collaborative efforts like this highlight exactly why the mission at the Center for Intergenerational Research and Practice (CIRP) is so essential.
