Following the August storms, Ohio EMA and FEMA are opening disaster recovery centers to support individuals that had damage to their homes. Franklin & Licking counties are included in the disaster declaration. Residents of those two counties that suffered damage from the storm may be eligible for some financial support.

These centers open today!

* At 856 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Hebron, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Newark, Heath, Granville, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Harbor Hills,
Granville South, Fairfield Beach, Thornport, Gratiot, Interstate 70
at State Route 13, and Brownsville.

This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 127 and 142, and near
