Today, the Brothers of the Columbus (GA) Alumni Chapter had the privilege of serving lunch to the students and staff of the Summer Program.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Director Linda Williams for inviting us to be a part of this wonderful opportunity to support and engage with the youth in our community. It is always an honor to give back and help make a positive impact.

Proud to welcome home our Kappa Leaguers, Braylon Greenwood and Jaylen Shaw, from Kappa Kamp Dallas 2026 during its historic 30th Anniversary year at Paul Quinn College!

Over two impactful weeks, they participated in leadership development, STEM education, financial literacy, college and career readiness, mentorship, and team-building experiences designed to prepare them for future success.

A special congratulations to Braylon Greenwood and his team for earning 1st Place in the Business Innovation Challenge with a concept focused on creating more inclusive sports and live event experiences for neurodivergent children.

This year was especially meaningful as our chapter’s first class to attend Kappa Kamp, highlighting the power of Kappa mentorship across generations and the continued impact of Guide Right and Kappa League.

The Columbus (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. proudly congratulates Kappa Leaguer Josh Greenwood on being selected as the recipient of the 2026 Russell J. Scott, Sr. Scholarship!

This prestigious scholarship honors the legacy of Brother Russell J. Scott, Sr., a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for more than 50 years and a steadfast advocate for education, achievement, and the development of young people. His commitment to uplifting future generations continues to make a lasting impact through this scholarship.

The Brothers of the chapter were blessed to attend 5th Sunday Worship Service at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.

We were honored to hear a powerful and thought-provoking message from guest pastor Rev. Dion Gilbert of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church entitled “A Scandal of a Scary Miracle” from Mark 5:1-10.

Rev. Gilbert reminded us that Jesus has the power to transform lives, confront what others fear, and bring restoration where society sees no hope. Through this powerful passage, we were challenged to trust God’s authority, embrace His transformative power, and recognize that no situation is beyond His reach.

We thank Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church for its warm hospitality and fellowship. As we continue our work in the community, we remain committed to faith, service, and uplifting those around us.

✈️🌟 And they’re off! 🌟✈️

Two of our outstanding Columbus (GA) Alumni Kappa Leaguers (Braylon Greenwood and Jaylen Shaw) are headed to Dallas, TX for the annual Kappa Kamp! Over the next two weeks, they will engage in leadership development training and participate in classes focused on financial literacy, STEM, college readiness, business, entrepreneurship, and so much more.

We are incredibly proud of these young men and the commitment they have shown to personal growth and excellence. Please join us in praying for their traveling grace, safety, mercy, and an experience of a lifetime as they learn, grow, and represent our community.
