The Comparative Literature Graduate Student Organization at Binghamton University invites proposals for its April 17–18, 2026 graduate conference exploring trauma, destruction, resistance, and recovery across cultures, histories, and theories.

We welcome multidisciplinary, multilingual, and cross-media work that treats trauma as intimate, communal, historical, and political—engaging with urgent global issues and asking: what struggles should trauma studies align with today?

✨ Approaches may include (but aren’t limited to):
Q***r Theory, Gender Studies, Trauma Studies, Decolonial/Postcolonial Studies, Psychoanalysis, Ecocriticism, Posthumanism, Media Studies, Philosophy, Marxism, and more.
