We lost a dear friend this week and our hearts are broken. The ET trumpet studio wishes Sened's family and friends peace and love in the face of their unimaginable grief.💔

The university flag is at half-staff today in memory of Sened Gebrehiwet, a second-year student who passed away on September 2.

Our thoughts are with all those affected by this loss.

Students who need support may speak with an East Texas A&M University counselor 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 903-886-5145. Students may also connect with a licensed counselor at any time through the TELUS Health Student Support App.

Faculty and staff may access confidential support through the university’s Employee Assistance Program.

Our April Foolishness came to a triumphant close tonight with a great recital by Taylor Gore and Libby Vanatta! Taylor has worked very hard towards this goal and it paid off big-time for him tonight!
