Leadership Excellence in Action!

Cadets from the Bayonet Battalion participated in the Royal Danish Air Force March (Danish Flyver) 2026 this past weekend at the Robinson Maneuver Training Center, AR. The Danish Flyver is a 20km ruck march that pushes endurance and grit to the limit.

That’s the standard - service before self, and growth through the challenge.

Thanks to the Army National Guard, the Guard Professional Education Center, and the Recruiting Station Little Rock, AR for hosting the event!

Welcome Back UCA Bears! After Cadet Summer Training (CST) 2026, we're excited to begin the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Bayonet Battalion Cadets supported UCA's Move-in Day this past Sunday and we are looking forward to Conway Daze on Wednesday.

Are you a first-time freshman or transfer student at UCA and interested in learning more about the career opportunities and financial benefits through Army ROTC?

• Basic Course enrollment with no initial obligation; on-campus 2/3/4-yr scholarships available for qualified applicants
• Monthly Living Allowance: $420/month tax-free stipend per month for ten (10) months of each school year for all contracted Cadets
• University funded ROTC Room & Board Scholarships: Eligible for contracted ROTC cadets who live on campus; must apply and meet eligibility requirements
• Arkansas Guard Tuition Waiver (NGTW): 100% state tuition waiver at AR public & select private universities for SMP Guard Cadets
• SMP Drill Pay & Bonus: Earn E-5 Reserve/Guard drill pay (~$300+/mo) plus potential GI Bill & state bonuses
• Direct Officer Commissioning: Graduate & commission as Second Lieutenant (O-1) in the U.S. Army.
• 17+ Career Branches: Leadership tracks in Cyber Security, Aviation, Medical, Logistics, Intelligence, Engineering, Public Affairs, Human Resources, Infantry, etc.
• Active-Duty Career Track: Full-time global leadership role with full healthcare, housing allowance, and retirement benefits.

University of Central Arkansas ROTC along with the University of Arkansas, Arkansas State, and University of Arkansas at...

University of Central Arkansas ROTC along with the University of Arkansas, Arkansas State, and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff conducted a 3 day Field Training Exercise, training over 125 Cadets. Juniors and Seniors conducted platoon movement and maneuver tactics combined with offensive and defensive operations with 4 Platoons across 6 tactical lanes.

Freshmen and Sophomores conducted day and night land navigation lanes, team building exercises, round robin training, the obstacle course, and capped off their weekend with UH-60 Blackhawk flights around the central Arkansas region.

A big thank you to the Arkansas National Guard for their support with training future Army Leaders!
