Yay! So excited that Meg's Bread opened a second location at the Appalachian Center for Craft! It's called Meg's Too, stop by and grab a bite! Open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Appalachian Center for Craft. Yum!

Meg’s Too – Craft Center Café is now open! Open M-F, 8:30-2:00 p.m.. Serving a wide variety from on-the-go drinks & snacks to freshly made sandwiches and soups; stop by for breakfast or lunch, you won’t regret it!

So proud of alumna Aimee Slagle!!!

Recent Tech graduate Aimee Slagle is turning hands-on learning into professional success, landing a full-time graphic designer position with a local agency after completing a prestigious internship at Nashville's Frist Art Museum.

“The most impactful part of my internship experience was engaging with museumgoers on an individual basis,” she said. “The moments where I was directly helping someone try a new art technique or sharing a piece of art history knowledge were the highpoints of my experience.”

AWESOME ALUMNI ALERT 🚨 Sara Wiggins, an alum of both our BFA in Clay and our BFA in Art Education, is making an impact in her position as the art teacher at East Hamilton High School near Chattanooga where she helps run the theatre set design program! 🎭 This year, Sara was awarded the Tivoli Theatre’s Jewel Award for Excellence in Theatre Education ⭐️ East Hamilton HS students earned the Audience Engagement Award, the “Un-Leashed Star” Award, and the award for Outstanding Stage Manager. We’re so proud of the great work our alumni are doing in the arts!!
