Beginning Fall 2026, Tennessee Tech will offer a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative Biology program! The 60-credit-hour program takes a systems-based approach to biological research, preparing scholars to address complex biological questions across multiple scales.
The program emphasizes the interconnections between biological systems while providing students with sophisticated analytical tools and research methodologies. Students develop expertise in advanced experimental design, cutting-edge analytical techniques, and the integration of field and laboratory methodologies.
The 60 credit hours will include 13 core credits, 12 graduate elective credits, and 35 research and dissertation credits.
