Tennessee Tech University will be offering a new Master of Social Work (MSW) program beginning Fall 2027. The MSW program in the Department of Sociology and Political Science prepares students for advanced, ethical, and culturally responsive practice across micro, mezzo, and macro levels of social work. The program offers two track options:

Advanced Generalist Track
• Foundation Courses: 27 credit hours
• Concentration Courses: 24 credit hours
• Elective Courses: 9 credit hours

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Track
• Foundation Courses: 30 credit hours
• Concentration Courses: 27 credit hours
• Elective Courses: 3 credit hours

Total Program Requirements: 60 Credit Hours
