Looking for resources for internet service?

Some internet providers have special low rates for low-income families. This may help in some circumstances. This website gives examples of internet providers with special programs:

Check with your local internet providers for details about special rates for low-income families. The federal government also has a special Lifeline program that can give a discounted rate, including for phone internet access: https://www.fcc.gov/lifeline-consumers.

Lifeline is the FCC's program to help make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides subscribers a discount on monthly telephone service purchased from participating providers in the marketplace.
