Pre-eclampsia is a serious condition that I am seeing more and more among pregnant people. I went through it myself with my first child in 2019 and it is a major part of what set me on my doula path.

Sometimes, for the health of momma and baby, plans have to change. When that happens, I'll be there for a late night "tuck in" visit and back again the very next morning to continue support . This fierce little princess decided 34 weeks was enough time in utero and her brave momma consented to a Cesarean to bring her safely Earthside. Welcome, baby girl. ❤️

Those May due dates are going to start rolling in soon! Will someone give me a birthday twin this year??

This capsule filling machine and I are NOT friends. It just keeps mangling the capsules and not sealing them!

I filled, tamped and sealed all the capsules BY HAND instead. Ain't no stupid piece of plastic stopping me from completing this placenta encapsulation!! 💪
