My co-teacher, Mary Kitchen-Neal and I are getting our group together to go to Paris and London next year (March 9-16, 2024), and we would love for you to join us. We have eight travelers signed up so far--five current students and three former students. I am trying to schedule virtual "career day" speakers for my team's English III classes at Arlington High School April 14-23. I could give you a time slot (or slots) and some talking points, and then maybe there would be some Q & A at the end. Your time commitment would be about 30 minutes. Just putting this out in the universe...My son, Luke Trahan graduated in May of this year with a degree in supply chain management from the University of Texas at Austin. He would like to work in the DFW area, starting as soon as possible. He graduated with a minor in government; his GPA was 3.15. He has had experience helping people prepare their taxes, and he has worked for Fed Ex, Dunkin' Donuts and Einstein's Bagels. He was involved in the campus chapter of the Lions Club and was in the Boy Scouts (quartermaster, Order of the Arrow and Life Scout). He is a hard, responsible worker. What Starts Here Changes The World!

Project Worldwide is a Texas Exes initiative encouraging all chapters and networks to engage alumni in community service within the month of February. This initiative was created from The Project, a large service event that occurs the last Saturday of February engaging UT staff, students and now alumni to improve and beautify a local community in Austin Texas.

In the spirit of community participation our chapter will be collecting trash and debris along the canals located on Heartz Rd from 9-11am on Saturday February 16th. Families are welcome. Meet at Town Center Elementary, and don't forget to wear burnt orange!
