Today's highlights a gift to the Frost School that is helping preserve and share centuries of musical history. The Camner family has donated scores, letters, manuscripts, and other historic musical artifacts to the Weeks Music Library and Technology Center, further enriching a collection that supports teaching, research, and performance at our institution.

These include early editions of works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Gluck, as well as other pieces connected to renowned performers and composers, providing students and scholars with access to these materials. We are grateful to the Camner family for their continued generosity and commitment to inspiring our community: https://news.miami.edu/frost/

Today's highlights The Donna E. Shalala MusicReach Program, which continues to expand access to music education through community partnerships. Their newest partner, We Belong Here, is supporting the creation of Miami’s first K-12 arts-focused public school campus through a contribution benefiting Pine Villa Elementary and the Arthur & Polly Mays Conservatory of the Arts.

This will help provide Frost School student mentors and teaching assistants to lead choir, piano, and other music classes, creating greater access to music education for students in one of Miami-Dade’s most underserved communities: https://bit.ly/4nY0ma6
