Student Parking Permit sales start for returning students on July 10th at 12:01am (Sunday Night). Full details were emailed to your student email address. Visit http://pt.ref.miami.edu/campus-parking/students/index.html for complete information or call Parking & Transportation at 305-284-3096, option 2.

All vehicles on campus should be registered with our department and are required to display a valid parking permit. Parking permits are printed with the appropriate color corresponding to our color zones.

The Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) is designed to give motivated students the opportunity to study languages not currently offered through traditional classroom instruction at the University of Miami. The goal of the program is to assist students to gain linguistic and cultural competence primarily through active conversation in the language of their choice and to promote their ability to adapt and respond to new linguistic and cultural environments. Flexibility is one of the key components of the program as it responds to the students' language needs.

Do you have a bike on campus? UM policy states that all bikes on campus must be registered with the University of Miami Police Department. Here’s the good news: UMPD provides free U-Locks and a registration sticker to every student at the time of registration. To register your bicycle and receive your free bicycle lock, bring in your bicycle and your ‘Cane Card to the UM Police Dept., located on the ground floor of the Flipse Building. The UM Police dept. is open 24/7, so you can come in and register your bike at any time! If your bicycle is ever lost, stolen or confiscated for non-compliance with the University bicycle policy, registration will aid UM Police in locating and returning your bicycle to you. You can contact UMPD at 305-284-6666 anytime for more info.
