📜 History
Originally founded as “Asociación Venezolana” in 1983, UNIVEN strives to foster leadership and school spirit while creating a social and service-oriented network at the University of Miami for Venezuelan students and non-Venezuelan students alike.
🏆 Recognition
In our decades-long legacy, UNIVEN has evolved into a thriving student organization where our members become the leaders and changemakers that our ever-changing world needs. Having received numerous awards over the years, including Organization of the Year, Community Outreach and Social Change Initiative, Most Improved Organization, and Most Resilient Organization, UNIVEN continues to generate positive change on- and off-campus. Additionally, our members have received numerous recognitions, including but not limited to Student Leader of the Year, Senior Legacy Award, Outstanding Graduating Student, Unsung Hero Award, and First-Year Leadership Award; exemplifying the excellence of the panas family in our beloved University.
