University of Miami Aquarium Club (UMAC)

University of Miami Aquarium Club (UMAC) Regular Meetings are held THURSDAY nights at 7:30 in the MSC Lab on the University of Miami Coral Gables campus (COX Science Center 184)!

UMAC is a club devoted to taking care of the tanks on the Coral Gables campus, helping members start their own tanks, learning more about aquariums, and having fun! UMAC's purpose is to educate University of Miami students about setting up and maintaining freshwater, marine, and reef aquaria, and providing resources to help make the aquarium hobby fun and enjoyable for its members. UMAC is also re

sponsible for the upkeep of the saltwater tanks on the Coral Gables campus, including the 90 gallon local Floridian reef tank in the MSC Lab.

Hope to see you at our meeting tomorrow, March 21st @7:30 in Cox 184! We’ll be having a short presentation introducing Sanjay Joshi, the presenter for this week’s FMAS meeting!

Speaking of... UMAC will be hosting the Florida Marine Aquarium Society this Saturday March 23rd in Cox 145 at 11 am! Come out to hear a wonderful talk about the aquarium hobby!
