We were also excited to see attendees registering to vote! 🗳️ A reminder that the 2026 General Election is coming up soon.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
📌 Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 5
📌 Early Voting: October 19–30
📌 Election Day: Tuesday, November 3

After an incredible 35-year career in librarianship, including 16 years of dedicated service to the Mary and Jeff Bell Library, we’re celebrating Lisa Louis as she begins her well-deserved retirement on September 25. 💙📚

Since joining TAMU-CC in 2010, Lisa has been a leader, mentor, innovator, and champion for students and librarians alike. From research assistance and information literacy to textbook affordability, open educational resources, and transforming library services, her impact on our library and university community will be felt for years to come.

Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card 🪪✨

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, so there’s no better time to join your local library!

While you can do this anytime, Corpus Christi Public Libraries will be in the library on Wednesday, September 30 from 2–4 p.m.!

Sign up for or renew your library card and discover everything your public library has to offer – from books and movies to digital resources, events, and more!

Note: SandDollar$ IDs can be used to verify residency to sign up as a full resident patron (Unlimited books - with a limit of 25 of any newly attained books, plus many other resources)!
