The International Programs office is hiring both a Marketing and Communications Student Assistant and a Videography Student Assistant for Fall 2026!

📝As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you'll manage and create content for social media, contribute to blogs and newsletters, and design promotional materials for events that support study abroad and international students.

🎥As a Videography Assistant, you'll direct, shoot, and edit short-form videos, collaborate with students to gather footage, and produce engaging content for social media and campus displays.

This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience, grow your portfolio, and help share global experiences with the campus community.

📍Open to current SUNY Cortland students
🕘 General Marketing and Communications role must have availability between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on either Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday or 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Videography role flexible based on projects.

The International Programs Office wants to honor your international experience, whether it be studying abroad, as an international student studying at SUNY Cortland, or to honor your cultural or national heritage.

We are offering students the opportunity to purchase a flag sash featuring the SUNY Cortland logo on one side and up to three different national flags on the other!

Sashes ordered by April 17 will arrive in the International Programs office by May 7.

International Programs partners with Vision Wear to create the sashed. Students can purchase sashes at a drastically reduced rate thanks to a CAS grant.

A few behind the scenes moments... and a big impact!

Thanks to 63 generous donors, we raised $5,165 through the Cortland Challenge to support life-changing international opporituinities for our students .
