Alpha Phi Omega at SUNY Cortland

Alpha Phi Omega at SUNY Cortland Alpha Phi Omega is a co-educational National Service Fraternity The Alpha Zeta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Omega was founded in the Fall of 2006.

We volunteer with local organizations such as the YMCA, Relay For Life, the YWCA, the SNAP, etc. throughout the semester. In addition to community service there is a Fellowship requirement. Our Fellowship events consist of a group of our brothers getting together to do fun and recreational activities. Previous fellowship outings include ski trips, paint balling, bowling, rock climbing, mini golf

and going out to eat. Alpha Phi Omega offers a variety of leadership activities. We have a full executive board with both full year and semester long positions available. We also have mini-positions, which gives, for many of our brothers, the opportunity to create and hold service events with our network of contacts. Members also have the ability to make their own mini-positions for organizations and causes that they are passionate about.
