Founded in 1895, Chi Omega is the largest fraternal woman's organization in the nation. The Oregon State University's Eta Alpha chapter is just one of the 178 collegiate chapters part of the organization. Chi Omegas around the world commit ourselves to our founding purposes: Sisterhood, High standards of personnel, Scholarship, Community Service, Campus Activities and Career Development. As Chi Omegas, we strive to become not only a part of the University and the community, but our best selves as well.

as recruitment is winding down, we’d like to wish our seniors a beautiful start to their last year with us!

thank you for the love, leadership and laughter you bring to chi o! each one of you has left something truly special and we are so lucky to share these years with you! while this chapter in your life will soon becoming to a close, we know you will continue to do many amazing things and the lessons you have learned will take you far beyond OSU! we are so proud and we can’t wait to see where this year takes you! enjoy every moment!!

here’s a little about why she loves chi o!!

“When I initially decided to go through recruitment I wanted to meet new people, gain leadership experience, and find ways to get involved at Oregon State. After being very involved in high school, I wanted to find a community where I could grow and make a positive impact. I had no idea at the time that joining Chi O would be the best decision of my life.
When I joined chi o, I was surrounded by girls who made me feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and appreciated for who I was. I soon made the best friends I had ever had and made memories I will cherish forever. From late movie nights in the basement, walks around Corvallis, and study sessions that would turn into hours of laughter and chatter. It’s those little moments that made chi omega my home.
During my sophomore year I became chapter president, which has been one of the most challenging but rewarding experiences of my life. It has made me grow in so many ways I never expected, teaching me the importance of leadership, patience, and putting others before myself. But more than anything I have built so many deep connections with the girls in the chapter.
Chi Omega has given me more than I could imagine, and I cannot picture my college experience, or life, without it.“
