The Engineering Expo is the College of Engineering's premier showcase of student innovation. This annual event features more than 1,000 engineering students presenting their senior capstone projects — solutions grounded in real-world challenges and built to work beyond the classroom. From robotics and clean water to nuclear energy and construction innovation, the Expo offers a firsthand look at how the next generation of engineers is tackling today’s most complex challenges. Join us to explore what’s next for Oregon State Engineering and the future it’s helping build.

The Expo is free and open to the public, welcoming a broad audience that includes students, faculty, industry partners, alumni, donors, families, and K–12 visitors from across Oregon. It is designed to be a flexible, self-guided experience. Attendees can explore project displays at their own pace throughout the day, engaging directly with student teams to learn about design processes, technical solutions, and project impacts.

Next up: Noah Fisher!
Noah plans to pursue an MEng in Biological & Ecological Engineering this fall. This summer, they’ll be interning with AKS Engineering & Forestry. Noah’s favorite OSU memory was studying abroad in the Peruvian Andes and Amazon—exploring Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) alongside Western science principles.
Congratulations, Noah! We’re excited for the next part of your journey—and can’t wait to see what you do next.

It's another Senior Spotlight! 🎓
Next up: Keira Janowski!
After graduation, Keira will be an intern on Jacobs’ Water Team in Portland, OR this summer, supporting a range of water resources engineering projects. She’ll then return to OSU in the fall to complete her MEng in Biological & Ecological Engineering.
One of Keira’s favorite memories was watching everyone’s final senior design presentations. Each group brought a unique, creative spin (from a Lily pointer stick to a Bad Bunny reference), and it was incredible to see how much every team grew over two terms of senior design.
Keira, we at BEE are so proud of you and your peers. Have an amazing internship—we can’t wait to see you back this fall!
