Yesterday, Dr. Ngo gave an excellent presentation on his ongoing research about the impact of developmental education reform on postsecondary outcomes. Here's a random shout out to these two guys: Matthew Ten Kate and Ben Pettit. You might have seen them around as they are both mentors in the Meant2Teach program and Ben also does work for our marketing team. Now both seniors, they are doing their student teaching in a local elementary and junior high school respectively. These are two of the faces of tomorrow's teachers and we're very proud of them. 🙏

The College of Education was so delighted to share part of yesterday with Oregon K-12 teachers who are also OSU alumni! The gathering took place at McMenamins-Wilsonville Old Church and Pub. Participants enjoyed free food and drinks, $50 door prizes, lots of free classroom swag, and an excellent presentation by Dr. René Pyatt on Reflective Practice. Watch our website and social media for additional networking events for teachers and counselors!
