Meet Eric Palacios, M.S., OCC's Student Leadership Coordinator and the kickoff to our Hispanic Heritage Month spotlight series! ✨

As the proud child of immigrant parents from Guanajuato, Mexico, Eric knows firsthand the power of resilience and hard work. Growing up motivated by the encouraging words, "Échale ganas, mijo" ("Try your best, son"), he navigated his own college journey and now uses those lessons to help students level up their leadership through ASOCC and campus clubs. 🧡💙

"I stand on the shoulders of giants... I feel a responsibility to continue creating opportunities for those who come after me." — Eric Palacios

Stories like Eric's remind us of the incredible impact mentors and representation make on our campus community.
