Pathway Navigator & Program Systems Specialist

Are you passionate about helping people reach their education and career goals while also being organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology?
Southwestern Community College is seeking a Pathway Navigator & Program Systems Specialist to join our Business & Community Development team!
In this role, you’ll help students navigate education and training opportunities, connect them with resources and support services, and work alongside college departments, workforce partners, community organizations, and program staff.
You’ll also play an important role behind the scenes by supporting:
✅ PACE & GAP tuition assistance programs
✅ Course and program setup and management
✅ Enrollment and registration systems
✅ Department-wide data collection and reporting
✅ Program operations and technology systems
✅ Workforce development initiatives
✅ Student success and support
We’re looking for someone who has:
🎓 An associate degree (bachelor’s preferred)
🤝 Experience in education, advising, counseling, human services, workforce development, program administration, or a related field is preferred
💬 Strong communication and customer service skills
📋 Excellent organization and attention to detail
💻 Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and software systems
🔧 The ability to learn new technology and manage multiple priorities
🔐 Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
