Iowa law requires used motor vehicle dealers applying for license renewal to complete a 5-hour education program within 24 months prior to renewal—unless the dealer has completed the 8-hour course within that same 24-month period.

Our Iowa Independent Used Auto Dealer Update course provides a practical refresher on dealer responsibilities, license requirements, and important updates affecting Iowa’s auto industry.

Southwestern Community College is seeking a Pathway Navigator & Program Systems Specialist to join our Business & Community Development team!

In this role, you’ll help students navigate education and training opportunities, connect them with resources and support services, and work alongside college departments, workforce partners, community organizations, and program staff.

You’ll also play an important role behind the scenes by supporting:

✅ PACE & GAP tuition assistance programs
✅ Course and program setup and management
✅ Enrollment and registration systems
✅ Department-wide data collection and reporting
✅ Program operations and technology systems
✅ Workforce development initiatives
✅ Student success and support

We’re looking for someone who has:
🎓 An associate degree (bachelor’s preferred)
🤝 Experience in education, advising, counseling, human services, workforce development, program administration, or a related field is preferred
