Something big is coming to MCC! We'll be expanding on real-world career experiences and connections, preparing students for the future.

More exciting opportunities are ahead for MCC students!

We’ve been awarded a five-year, multimillion-dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support our new Work-Learning Advantage, creating more ways for students to explore careers, connect with employers, and gain real-world experience through job shadowing, internships, apprenticeships, and more.

The initiative will also include a new career exploration hub, one-on-one work-based learning coaches, and a new Employability Skills certificate. We can’t wait for our students to experience these new ways to learn and grow! Read more at http://mcc-link.me/Gc7z50ZTjvk

What if the career that's meant for you is one you haven't discovered yet?

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Warp Corps to McHenry County College for a day of exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. Middle and high school students stepped into our Radiology, Sonography, Horticulture, Respiratory Therapy, and Fire Science & EMS programs to experience what these careers look like beyond the classroom.

From exploring cutting-edge healthcare careers to getting their hands dirty at the Student Farm, students were encouraged to ask questions, try something new, and imagine futures they may have never considered before.

The day concluded with a College & Career Readiness session, reminding students that there isn't just one path to success—there are countless opportunities waiting to be explored.

At MCC, we believe that sometimes all it takes is one experience to spark a passion, uncover a talent, or inspire a future career.

Thank you, WARP Corps, for spending the day with us. We can't wait to see where your journey leads! 💚🦁

Meet Roary and Scoopie today, 12-2 at the Woodstock Culver's. It's Mascot Day!! 🦁🍦

Getting ready to head out to Culver’s in Woodstock from noon to 2 p.m., but first I need to water the plants in the greenhouse. Too bad they can’t have frozen custard from Culver’s!
