Please join Wharton SoCal Tennis and the Penn Club at the Palisades Tennis Center. Do you love to play tennis but crave something more social or cardio-focused?

This event is for you! We’ll be hosting up to four Liveball sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players, with a maximum of eight players on each court.

Participants must bring their own racket and understand basic tennis fundamentals (a minimum USTA level of 2.5 is required). Come as early as 1PM to check-in, say hi, and warm up. Play will begin promptly at 1:30PM.

There will also be prizes! We have Kith x Wilson swag, tennis balls, and pickleball paddles (boo).

August 15, 2026 is also the grand reopening of Palisades Village. Post-workout Erewhon smoothies anyone?
What is Liveball?: Liveball is currently the hottest way to play tennis. It is a doubles “king of the court” tennis format where a coach continuously feeds balls and players compete in rotating teams. Get ready to sweat. Warning: it is highly addicting!

There is no serving

Eight players participate on each court

Two players begin on the King side and two on the Challenger side, while the remaining players wait in line behind the Challenger side

A coach starts each point with a feed

Players play out the point

Challenger team must win four points before the King team wins two to take over the King side

Losing team rotates to the back of the Challenger line

Our annual Midsummer night socializing shindig is open to all Ivy+ Entertainment alumni, their homies, and their friends. All guilds are all welcome. The Harvardwood interns will be in attendance, so any interns from the Ivy plus community are invited as well!

Party of the year!!!

Penn Club of LA and Wharton SoCal are joining forces for our annual summer party!!

This year, we’re taking it to the Cloverfield, one of Santa Monica’s favorite neighborhood spots. We’ll have the back bar outdoor area for an evening of canapes, great drinks, and great company. Spend a summer night in Santa Monica with fellow alums making new connections.

The University of Pennsylvania Asian Alumni Network invites you to join our third annual Penn Asian Alumni and Student Summer Connection in Southern California!

Join us for an easy summer ocean view hike at the Top of the World in Laguna Beach. This will be a novice hike with plenty of time to meet and catch up with fellow alumni. Family, friends, and dogs welcome!

We will be meeting near the playground area at the Alta Laguna Park, which is just near the entrance to the Top of the World hiking trails and near the end of W Ridge road.

Parking is free! (although the area can get full closer to midday)

Following the hike, for those interested, we will be having lunch in Laguna Beach (we will have to choose the restaurant based on the number of people going).

A mixer focused on recent alumni (last 10 class years 2025-2015) from the 8 Ivy League schools, however alums from all class years are welcome!

Bringing together all Ivy SoCal clubs, this annual collaboration has become one of the networking highlights of the year. It will be hosted at a private residence in Bel Air (address emailed upon registration).
Included with $35.00 admission:
Tray pass heavy hors d’oeuvres (Kosher-compliant and plenty of vegan options)
One drink ticket for an alcoholic beverage along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages
