Happy TES Tuesday πŸ’™πŸ’›

Today we’re celebrating the educators of Theta Epsilon Sigma! From psychology and public health to teaching, mentorship, and student advocacy, our Sorors are making an impact far beyond the classroom.

Soror Jennifer Brown, Dr. Malaika Brown, Soror Kymbereley Garrett, Soror Taylor Green, Soror Wendy Nixon and Soror Christina Quinn remind us that education is more than imparting knowledge. It is about helping others discover their voice, build confidence, understand themselves, and recognize their own potential.

We are proud of the educators in our sisterhood who continue to teach, inspire, advocate, and create spaces where others can grow. Your work matters, and your impact reaches further than you may ever see.

Here’s to the women who educate with purpose and serve with heart. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Soulful Sunday reminds us that love is not simply something we feel. It is something we choose, practice, and extend to others.

β€œLet all that you do be done in love.” β€” 1 Corinthians 16:14

As you move through this week, let love guide your words, your actions, your relationships, and even the way you care for yourself. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Wellness Wednesday is your reminder that being present is a practice, not a personality trait.

When life feels busy, give yourself a few moments to come back to where you are. Take a deep breath. Notice what you can see. Feel your feet on the ground. Slow down enough to taste your drink. Focus on one task at a time. And give yourself permission to pause.

You do not have to rush through every moment to make the most of your day. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is be fully present for the moment you are already in.

Today, take a breath. Slow down. Look around. Be here.

Your mind and body will thank you.

Soulful Sunday reminder: you do not have to carry tomorrow today.

Bring your worries, your hopes, and your petitions to God. Pray. Give thanks. Trust. And allow His peace to meet you right where you are.

Whatever is weighing on your heart, release it. You have made your petition known. Now, let God handle what comes next.

Wellness is more than what we do for ourselves. It is also about creating spaces where our communities can breathe, connect, and feel supported.

Join us on September 26th for the St. Jude Run/Walk for the Cure , a time to pause, prioritize your wellbeing, and raise money for a worthy cause, beating childhood cancer.

Because wellness is not a luxury. It is part of how we care for ourselves and one another.

Save the date. We hope to see you there! You can also donate to our team by scanning the QR code.

Today is an invitation to release what you cannot control and place it in the hands of God.

Philippians 4:6 reminds us that we do not have to carry tomorrow before it arrives. We can bring our concerns, hopes, questions, and petitions to God with prayer and thanksgiving.

Whatever is weighing on your heart today, pause. Breathe. Pray. Trust.

You do not need every answer to experience peace. Sometimes faith is simply making your petition known and trusting God with what comes next.

May your Sunday be filled with peace greater than the circumstance, faith stronger than the fear, and the reminder that you never have to carry it all alone.

When your energy feels low, you do not always need to push harder. Sometimes, you need to pause and recharge.

Take care of yourself from the inside out by checking in with three important areas: your mind, your body, and your space.

For your mind, take two minutes to breathe deeply, practice gratitude, speak kindly to yourself, or visualize how you want to feel.

For your body, drink some water, stretch, grab a nourishing snack, or take a short walk to get your energy moving.

And do not forget your space. Sometimes changing your environment can change how you feel. Clear a little clutter, step outside, create some quiet, or give yourself permission to be in a space that feels restorative.

Wellness does not have to be complicated or perfect. Sometimes the reset you need can take just a few intentional minutes.

This Wellness Wednesday, ask yourself: What does my mind need? What does my body need? What does my space need?

Then give yourself a little more of it.
