An unexpected expense of $500 or less shouldn’t force a student to pause their education. We’re proud to celebrate the recipients of the 2026 TIAA Emergency Aid Microgrant, administered by NASPA.

The 2026 Emergency Aid Microgrant recipients include:
• Allegany College of Maryland
• Coastal Bend College
• Doane University
• Lincoln University of Pennsylvania
• Montclair State University

This year’s TIAA Emergency Aid Microgrant Initiative recognizes and awards five higher education institutions with $10,000 in financial support given directly to students, helping them address urgent needs such as housing, food, and transportation. These institutions are leveraging microgrants to maximize the impact of emergency aid programs and basic needs support to advance student persistence and success.

Through our engagement with these five campuses, NASPA is deepening our understanding of the landscape of emergency aid programs and what tailored support is needed for members leading this work.

Our ACM Social Media Marketing and Multimedia Technology students were hard at work behind the scenes yesterday at DelFest, gaining real world experience in live event production, camera operations, directing, and media coordination... all while powering through the rain like pros. 🎥🌧️

Experiences like this are what hands on learning at ACM is all about!

We’re thrilled to welcome back a piece of ACC/ACM history.

Former VP of Finance, Paul Haberlein, returned the original 1981 IBM 5150 computer, the very computer that helped power the college’s early tech journey 45 years ago!

Before Wi-Fi, before laptops and even before color screen were cool, this machine was opening doors to innovation right here on campus. Today, it serves as a reminder of how far we’ve come and the pioneers who helped get us there. Thank you, Paul, for preserving and sharing this incredible piece of our story!
