🚗 This Thursday, De Anza Auto Tech and the California New Car Dealers Association will be hosting a career day for high school students on campus. Highlights include:

Welcome session at 10 a.m.
Breakout sessions throughout the morning
A “girls only” session at 11:45 a.m., hosted by a local woman shop owner who is also a De Anza alum
Prizes and college fair at 1 p.m.

Film/TV Instructor Cole Quirk has been selected for an Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship by the Emmys / Television Academy Foundation in Hollywood! She is one of 18 professors selected from colleges and universities nationwide for the 2026 fellowship program named for the late host of the famed quiz show Jeopardy!

The fellowship provides financial support for educators from community colleges and minority-serving institutions to attend its annual Media Educators Conference.

We're excited to announce that De Anza is a The Campaign for College Opportunity 2026 Pathway Champion of Placement!

The institution earned statewide honors in two key categories: Campuswide English Success and Campuswide Math Success, highlighting its leadership in advancing equitable student success and strengthening California’s transfer pathway.

🤝 Meet Alec Walizer!

He is an Automotive Technology major and the president of the Auto Tech Club. At first, Alec didn't think he’d go into a leadership role in the club, but he’s glad he did. “It's just made me more comfortable to get out of my own shell,” he said.
