國立成功大學 北加州校友會2016年理事會團隊向各位校友們拜早年. 祝福大家- 金猴獻瑞喜迎春！ 猴運當頭過好年!!

新春將至, 先祝福各位成功大學北加州校友會學長姐, 學弟妹以及其家人,神𤠣献瑞,猴年吉祥!

2016年成大北加州校友會理事會由葉啓信理事長, 茹季屏(1983電機系)副理事長以及林速貞(1992外文系)會長于今年一月一日正式接任理事會會務. 我們將帶領三位副會長: 第一副會長: 江明軒(2001電機系); 第二副會長: 任鳳儀(1983應用數學); 第三副會長: 高榮宏(1985工科系)以及理事團隊們秉持成大人刻苦耐勞的精神及團隊合作的優良傳統，繼續為我們北加州的校友來服務。

2016年的校友會的活動, 將以3月5日的新春聚會揭開序幕.透過此次的餐會,提供校友們相互交流並増進彼此的情感的機會.

5月份,理事會也將策劃舉辦相當受到校友們熱烈的捧場及好評的烤肉活動. 屆時請校友們踴躍的攜家帶眷一同來參加。

6月份北加州成大校友會也將參舉年度的灣區華人運動大會各項活動. 包括開幕式繞場以及各類運動項目, 如高爾夫球,藍球,射撃,田徑,保齡球等比賽.偈誠歡迎校友們共襄盛擧為校友會爭光.

11月份的重點活動-鳳凰花之夜也是本年度理事會的主要活動策劃 . 我們希望可以為更多的校友帶來歡樂精彩的演出節目以及提供豐盛的晚宴。敬請期待!

今年我們也將持續和Happy Hiker社團一起在每個月的第二個禮拜天到灣區各地健行。目前由我們成大校友Frank Tsen 曾福民領隊，校友帶領大家一起來運動,走路,健身. 有興趣的校友可以透過[email protected]或電話跟我們負責的領隊校友聯絡。

此外, 除了校友聯誼活動之外，成大北加州校友會理事會也將不定期舉辦創新創業活動以及支持友好社團的各項座談會及節目. 理事會會透過臉書專頁活動公告以及電郵方式將活動訊息傳送給各位校友.

Dear NCKU Alumni,

I'm excited to share with you a project my daughter, Kathleen Tso, has been working on for the past year. Living in Chinatown, NYC, she has found a community of Asians working in the creative industry. She, in partnership with Vicki Ho, founded a magazine titled Banana Magazine that is aimed to celebrate contemporary Asian culture. The root of her project is to build a platform where Asian writers, artists, photographers, and more can come and work together. They have already received a lot of community support from the Museum of Chinese America in NYC and solidified distribution at Opening Ceremony.

They have already finished the entire contents for their inagural issue and have laid the magazine together. Now they are fundraising to pay for printing and shipping. Examples of featured stories include Shanghai-born menswear designer Peir Wu, Mott Street Cycles a custom bike shop in Chinatown started by two Chinatown natives, publishing Veronica So's grandma's herbal soup recipes, and much more!
