We are excited to announce the first talk of this semester’s Chinese Flagship Lecture Series. Our guest speaker, Professor Tiao-Guan Huang, will present a talk titled “More Than Love Songs: Teresa Teng and the Story of Modern Taiwan.” The talk will focus on the famous Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng and explore how her music influenced modern Taiwan.
