Our President:
www.barrycreamer.com Based on that experience, we now intend to extend our influence into the culture more broadly.

Our students, staff, faculty, alumni, and supporters all play a vital role in the mission of providing ministerial and professional higher education for men and women preparing to serve as Christian leaders throughout society, while maintaining an institutional commitment to biblical inerrancy. Since its inception in 1970 as the Criswell Center for Biblical Studies, the college has produced some o

f the most important leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention, a disproportionate accomplishment for such a small college, but an intentional one. When I arrived as a Master of Divinity student in 1990, the college was already accredited and meeting on our current campus. I found professors willing to encourage intellectual curiosity without sacrificing doctrinal conviction, and a setting where my faith was enriched and strengthened. When I returned as a professor of Humanities in 2004 I saw the deliberateness with which the college preserved academic integrity without compromising its relationship to scripture or the church. As an administrator since 2010, I have discovered the great loyalty of the college’s supporters. The more involved I have become, the more blessed I realize I am to be part of the school. Being in the urban heart of the fourth largest American metropolitan area, the college is ideally positioned to train students who can influence the culture for Christ. The targeted curriculum expansion is designed to produce leaders in the key areas of church, government, education, media, and business. You have our prayerful thanks as you consider how you can play a part in Criswell College’s future, or how we can play a part in yours. Gratefully,

Barry K. Creamer, Ph.D.
