The Medical Imaging Club at Misericordia University recently hosted “Cougars Connect for Cancer,” a campus-wide initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds in support of all cancers.
Students sold colored ribbons representing different types of cancer, which were then linked together and displayed across campus as a powerful visual of unity, hope, and support. The club also organized a bake sale, bringing students, faculty, and staff together for an important cause.
All proceeds from the initiative were donated to the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA, a nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to individuals and families affected by cancer. A check was presented to Tom Ruskey, Director of the center, in recognition of the club’s efforts.
We are proud of our students for turning compassion into action and making a meaningful impact in the community. 💙💛
